You definitely need reservations. You can go online and reserve for the next day. They will give you a time of arrival.
Reservations are advised just in case of a line. They are only allowing a certain amount of guest in per showing. So tickets can be acquired at the counter if there is opening. Reservations are the best way to do it especially on weekends.
