That happens! Did your wife sign a release of information from, where you can talk with him?
I talked with the social workers last night and they said to call in the morning and the Doctor would be available to talk with me. Today no one is available. No one said we had to do that.........They made contact with me and we are all on the same page. Finally . Its been an aggravating two days but We have worked it out. There is room for improvement in the communications of what is the process that goes on with loved ones. Thank you all
Talk with a supervisor over the psychiatrist or psychiatric ward.
Charles R King call the unit ( make sure you have the patience code) and request to talk to the patient's nurse and ask her/him to let the Doc know you need to talk to him/her. Might take couple of days to return your call b/c doc in there are pretty busy. If you don't have patient code you are out of luck they won't talk to you.
