The staff is friendly enough, but the new donor process is very lengthy and repetitive. I also thought it was very unsanitary that I had to ask my technician to change her gloves before removing my needle. I watched her touch all of the equipment from the person next to me, wipe down the chair, move tubing filled with someone elses' blood before she came to me and tried to start helping me with contaminated gloves. Then after she changed her gloves (because I asked) she came back and picked up the device she had previously been touching with dirty gloves. For a center that strictly handles blood, I was very disappointed in the level of sanitation and lack of precautions. They paid well and the procedure was fairly painless. I just don't think I'll go back to this location.

Long wait times, not enough staff, no schedule, got here at 7 the line has moved maybe 5 people of 20 and now it’s 740. If it wasn’t for the promotion I would just go to BioLife personally.

Decent experiences so far donating at this location but I’ve been noticing that they take forever to un hook you from the machine after donating. Last time It took them 25 min just for them to finally disconnect me from the machine. It shows the workers don’t value the customers time well, I hope they can prioritize that notion a little better.

You recieve $270 during your first 5 donations. It is $60, $60, $40, $40, and on your 5th donation $70. Yes, they are really open on Sunday. The hours are Monday thru Friday 6am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 5pm. No appointment necessary.
I work for a Center in philadelphia. This story is Fishy to me.They don't generally defer donors for life unless one of 4 things happens. 1 your test results show you are a high risk to the recipients of our plasma. 2 you were educated on CSL's cross donation policy and chose to cross donate anyway and were caught 3 You lied about something on your health history questionaire and got caught in that lie or 4 you were a trouble maker constantly causing drama with either the staff or other donors. Short of those 4 scenarios I have never heard of a donor getring deferred for life
The frequency rules for donating plasma is that you can donate twice in a seven day period.
First 5 donations are 60, 60, 40, 40, 70. If you complete all in 30 days. After that unless you weigh 110 lbs it's 25 first of the week 45 second donation of the week.
It's almost always on your card even before you leave the donation center
Never waited hours here. Maybe bring headphones? Staff is friendly and competent.
The donation frequency rules for donating plasma are you can only donate 2 times in a 7 day period, with at least 1 day between donations.
1100 for your first 8 donations
Yes have your name on it
No narcotics or benzos
Unfortunately no. Trulicity would show traces through on the plasma and make it unusable. The plasmapheresis process filters the red blood cells from the plasma but anything like medications or illegal drugs do not get filtered out of it.
It's not necessary you can walk in and they can help you get started
In order to donate at the Salt Lake City location you need to live within about a 50 mile radius of the center.
No you can't went last year and they need an in state address on an in state id to send you the information. Answer cut short, no you cant.
7:00 to 4:00
Earlier the better it takes about 3 hours the first time. They stop taking new doners at 5.
To minimize potential health risks and its FDA regulations.
You need proof of residence (utility bill, lease agreement, etc) and a picture ID.
Get there by noon or 1 tho or they'll tell you come back. Cuz it takes 3 hours or more
I have never surveys
Never heard about rewards on line
It depends on what medications you are on. You can call and ask and they will let you know if you can.
You will need some form of proof of SS#. SS card works, any year W-2 (online W-2 included), pretty much anything government issued that has your SS#, states that number is ur SS# and the name has to match what's on ur ID.
1 year
Downgrades? Money gors up with bonuses each month each week. So Idk maybe you have gone to the wrong CSL
You make 60 the first time. 60 the 2nd. And then 40, 40, and 70. After that it depends on weight. If you’re over 175 you make $25 the first time in a week and $45 the second. If you’re over 145 (I believe) and under 175 you make 25 and 40. If you’re under 145 you make 20 and 25 I think or maybe the second time is more. If you donate more than 8 times I a month they have bonuses ranging from $50-100!
You also need to bring a recent bill with your address and name on it
Look it up
It's a plasma center not a Blood Bank
