I work for a Center in philadelphia. This story is Fishy to me.They don't generally defer donors for life unless one of 4 things happens. 1 your test results show you are a high risk to the recipients of our plasma. 2 you were educated on CSL's cross donation policy and chose to cross donate anyway and were caught 3 You lied about something on your health history questionaire and got caught in that lie or 4 you were a trouble maker constantly causing drama with either the staff or other donors. Short of those 4 scenarios I have never heard of a donor getring deferred for life
Sounds like only half of the story. I have been associated with the business for a long time and know for a fact that there's something you're not telling. Keep it 100!
I'm allergic to latex and donate twice a week.
They said they couldn't risk me having another allergic reaction
I'd call and talk to a manager, they ask everyone before they wrap them, which infers to me if you answer yes...they would have to have an alternative wrap.
Bullllllllllshit
Thats odd
