Yes, we have hired an Executive Chef to work with our Dietitian and Food Services Director to ensure our food is not only healthy for our Residents, but palatable! Our Chef will be meeting with Residents to ensure our menu includes meals everyone WANTS to eat, although pleasing everyone will be tough. We are also evaluating sourcing locally for our vegetables, like we currently do for our eggs and bread (which has made a big difference!). Thank you for helping us continue to improve Alta!
Turkey 30 time's a month, rubber all the meat is tuff dry no flavor the rice or potatoes are dry and bland baby food looking carrots and over cooked and under cooked veggies. Any home cooked soups are like water with raw veggies. The list goes on, but they are working on it. And I believe that they will make it better.
