My recent experience with this ship center and FedEx delivery in general has been very disappointing. This past weekend was my engagement party. We had many relatives in town, our parents meeting each other for the first time, a special weekend to say the least. My mom wanted to have a welcome basket delivered here for my fiancés mom so she would feel welcome to our family when she arrived from Seattle. The basket was ordered way in advance and set to arrive Wed. That never happened, never got a text for delivery and no note. On thurs we called the company to send out a new one and they promptly sent it on priority to arrive Saturday morning (the day of our party). On Saturday at 10:00am I got a text from FedEx saying I needed to be home to sign for the package. I was not aware of that requirement and was not given much notice to be there. 10:30am the driver left a note attempted delivery. My fiancé called FedEx to check our options. The person on the phone said it would be rerouted and brought back to us by 1:00p. Still no package. At 1:45p, we called again. This time the person on the phone said there was no such thing as reroute and we would have to go pick up the package across town before closing at 4:30p. My fiancé got ready for our big party with urgency, hustled over to this FedEx ship center and got there by 3:50p only to find the doors locked and about 25 other people standing outside angry unable to retrieve their packages. When he called FedEx to ask for a supervisor because of the ridiculous situation which caused unnecessary stress on what should have been an enjoyable day, He was told there was no way of reaching anyone to help him and the package would go out Monday, which is pointless as his parents would already be gone back to Seattle. On Monday, he went back over to the ship center to talk to someone, they advised the package was out for delivery again. When he asked if the address could be changed to just send directly to his parents in Seattle at this point, the answer was no. When he told the person working that the ship center was closed on Saturday the response was, “that’s news to me”. Our only option is now to refuse this package upon delivery and work it out with the company who sent it as this is now the THIRD package they will have to send out due to FedEx’s lack of professionalism and inability to deliver an important package promptly. I understand the law of having someone sign for a package but we did drive to the ship center TWICE during business hours to retrieve it, with no success. No one can seem to offer a solution and even worse, no one at FedEx seems to care that the entire ship center was closed during business hours on Saturday with dozens of people upset. Very disappointed.

Left a package in my walkway nowhere near to my front door, where anybody could have just grabbed it. Called customer service and they refuse to even talk to me. Absolute garbage.
