It's just a big dog park out there. Not separated into small medium and large breeds. There is quite a bit of room to keep your small dog away from the bigger dogs. And most people with bigger dogs. Respect smaller dog owners
No separation for sizes, as noted. However, there are other parks in town that do separate by size. Hidden Valley's Link Piazzo park is one I personally know off-hand to consider if you are uncomfortable allowing your smaller dog aroind large dogs.
I have not seen the many small dogs bothered at all. All the dogs seem to have a great time.
The dog park is all one large field. For a small dog you might want to go to the dog park at the Sparks marina
The dog park used to be a cow pasture. People were letting the dogs loose in the past year so the park decided to not have cows out there anymore and make it into an unofficial dog park. It became listed as a dog park on several web sites which hastened the transition. That being said, there's no segregation for large small or medium dogs. All dogs roam around together and usually get along well. There are the occasional problems where some dogs are more aggressive and cause altercations, both between the dogs and the owners. It's a great place to take your dog if your dog is well behaved and listens to voice commands. If your dog will just run off, do not take your dog there. The fencing is just open slat fencing I'm Da can easily get under that.
It's a large open area not fully enclosed. There are dogs of all sizes. I have two small dogs and I have not had problems with other larger dogs.
Yes, it is a large area.
It is very spacious. Room enough for dogs of all sizes.
