we found a female dog on the corner of Slaughter Ln and Roxanne in south Austin. She had puppies and still has milk in her. We had her checked - no chip She has a collar but no tag. What can we do - we are trying to find owner

Take her and her pups to Austin animal center, they will scan for a chip and provide medical care.

Look for signs, or put some up yourself. It's likely she and her puppies were dumped. Thing her to the humane society is also a good option.
