So sorry for your loss..try to sell the dog first. Or you can surrender him/her for a small fee. Or give the dig away to a family member.

ACS will take a while before you can actually surrender him. And there is a huge chance he will be euthanized. Try to rehome him if you can. Ask for a rehoming fee though. Most rescues are overloaded due to the animal neglect here so i doubt any have tue room. Good luck! If he is fixed and UTD on his shots I'm sure you can find a great home for him.
