As far I know they handle all of that before you adopt
Hello, our pet adoptions include: - Spay/Neuter surgery - Lifetime registered microchip - Rabies vaccination - First month of flea, tick and heartworm prevention - First round of vaccinations - Lifetime basic training for adopted dogs
Shots and spay/neuter and and any other issues are handled before adoption.
ACS spays/neuters, checks for heartworm and vaccinates your dog, before adoption. In rare cases, spay/neuter has to wait until the dog is healthy enough. In which case, you sign a waiver and can return to ACS or Wellness Spay Neuter clinic for a future s/n at no cost.

I found a stray kitten in the neighborhood. Can I bring her in to be checked so I can adopt her?
