It is really hot and humid during the summer but as fall start the weather gets more pleasant, and they have a great variety of restaurants with great food.
I wouldn't personally eat by the river walk because it's very expensive. Yes it can be very hot!
The majority of the riverwalk is shaded by trees or patio covers from restaurants at times it can be hot and humid
