These apartments are like townhomes, so you have more privacy and quiet since for the most part, you are your own upstairs neighbor.

Sometimes you can but not much. If you are on the top floor, its better. I am on the bottom and since they removed the carpeting, I can even hear my upstairs neighbor in the bathroom
