Keep in mind we do not get snow here in southern PA anymore. If you want confidence to an extreme I use hankook snow tires and switch between summer and winter tires. I travel a lot of miles and the extra insurance of snow tires gives my family a sense of relief. Jeremy in parts knows his selection of snows.
The Michelin premier ltx is very popular, also check out the Yokohama avid envigor. Rahal offers price matching on tires too, just fyi.
I'm a big fan of Michelin. They're the only tires I buy. Go to tire rack on the internet and check out prices and ratings for tires. You can even buy them online and have them shipped to a shop that will install them.
Give them a call or go in. Service Dept.there is very good.
