Delta Dental has the absolute worse customer service I have ever seen! If I could give a 0 rating, that would be too high. On hold for hours with no one picking up is totally unacceptable. It has been 2 weeks and still can't reach anyone. Get it together Delta Dental!!!

I had Delta Dental through my previous employer for over 2 years and once I left that job, I signed up for my own personal policy because of how good the coverage was before. My wife and I thought the coverage was great when the policy was through my employer. They seemed to cover a lot of services and a high percentage of the costs, and the premium was not bad. However, once I left my old job, the new job had some random stupid insurance, so I got my own personal policy with Delta, for the whole family. I pay almost $110 per month and the coverage sucks. They cover probably half what my previous policy covered, but I pay almost twice as much for the monthly premium. Bottom line is, beware if you need to get your own personal policy through Delta. It is lousy & to me it isn't worth the money.

They don't want to pay for any treatment. Avoid purchasing the plan and warn your employers about them. They will seem enticing because they are cheap but, the reason why is they will find any excuse to not pay for treatment or visits

Delta dental is the worst insurance to have unless they pay 100.00, but they have the worst customer care out of all of the insurances we accept. Please discourage your employer to drop this insurance company. If you want to speak third world country or ghetto, please by all means sign up for your discount plan. Your dentist can give you a better discount with In house plan. Drop Delta dental! Go to United concorida, metlife or guardian...all superior organization.
