if your pregnant and due within 2 months do they find a permanent place for you before you give birth ? Or they just place you in a shelter and when u give birth u come to the shelter with your newborn baby?

Permanent as in housed in a family shelter for the duration of your stay so long as you stay compliant of the rules and regulations

They may find you eligible based on the reason why you cant stay someplace else. That is a 10 day process. You may ha e to go back and forth to provide docile t's and they will schedule appointments with You. This can be frustrating!! You will be places in a family shelter as you are pregnant. Once you give birth, you go back to PATH and add the baby on the household composition. Provide them with discharge papers, etc from the hospital and when you get babies birth certificate and as ss card, provide that to shelter staff where you are placed or PATH. They are to provide you with a crib for the baby as it's required by law. Congrats!!
