Honestly if you want Staten island you should do the shelter in Staten Island... There's no law or regulations that say they must place you where you work or want...it's whatever is available according to the Shelter system ...best of everything

I am 21. I am not on anyone’s lease and I plan on going by myself. I do not have any documents beside a copy of my birth certificate and identification. Any advice ? I would hate to go in and be told I was found ineligible with nowhere else to turn.
