It's not every 10 days. When they first place you it's only for a 10 day placement to determine if in fact you are eligible. Once you've been found eligible then you have to sign paper work detailing what is expected of you at your particular shelter. Don't get frustrated. Just try and go with the flow. I wish you the best on your journey.

I have a 3 month old and I’m in a relationship with the dad. I don’t have any problem with where we stay other then the fact that they smoke weed and get drunk everyday and that’s not somewhere I want my child. Will they accept us ?
