This is the perfect place! The museum is amazing (don't forget the Jim Henson collection), and the little one in my family loves the create-a-puppet workshop. It's awesome for adults too!
And
If your kid enjoys puppets and Sesame Street and the Muppets this is a fabulous place for a 4 yr old! Even my teenagers enjoyed the The Centre for Puppetry Arts.
Yes. As long as they are entertained by puppets they will enjoy it. It's also fun to see the Sesame Street puppets in the museum.
Would probably do better with the puppet show than the museum. The Henson exhibit is a lot more interactive, but it's limited and the child will be looking at the puppets behind glass.
I took my kindergarten and first grade class to see Rudolph...it was a little long for them but they did sit through it.
They may enjoy the Jim Henson section, but they'll have the most fun in the gift shop.
Defintely great for all ages!
Absolutely! They have specific events, shows, and activities just for the younger visitors.
Yes it is, Four years will do really good there
Yes! They have Sesame Street characters they'd recognize. There are also "make your own puppet" activities children can enjoy
Yes, it is great for kids of all ages.
Absolutely. My 1 year old even had a great time. It truly is all ages.
Yes. I took kids from 5 to 11 and they all enjoyed it. Especially the Sesame Street area.
YES!! The small children do Very well. It is an excellent performance
Yes. I brought my 2-year-old and he enjoyed it.
Yes, my four year old daughters love it! We started going before they even turned four, and they like it just as much as our older kids, if not more
Definitely. There are alot of kids around that age in the performances and in the museum.
Depends on the 4yo. The museum is neat for all ages, and the puppet shows are great for any kid who will have the attention span for it. If your child is loud or disruptive they will ask you to leave, though, until the child calms down.
