If I could, I would marry this place!

I went to a show but I caught a quick glimpse of the museum and was impressed with what I saw. I definitely would enjoy coming back and spending more time browsing.

You gotta see the Ghastly Dreadfuls
Sarah Gilkerson
Amazing museum and shows. The Ghastly Dreadfuls show in October is a tradition for me. The children's shows have workshops afterwards where you make your own puppet. It's themed to the show and is super fun (even as an adult). The museums are incredible - you'll learn about puppets from round the world and of course, get to see some Muppets and sesame street friends. This is one of my favorite museums in Atlanta

About an hour or two
$ 9 each plus a $ 4 skate rental fee
Yes! Its free parking, which is a plus, but the lot does fill up quickly.
Yes they do!
Call the Center for Puppetry Arts for help...
Glad to hear it! Hope you can make it some day to take an in-person tour.
Beauty and the Beast runs until 28 July. Check the website for performance dates and times.

Google that.
I know the museum is included in the ticket price...usually 12.50. Other than that you may wish to give them a call. Here is the website http://www.puppet.org/
Checking the website to see if and when they would be open should be the first step. If they are open check the Jim Henson collection and The Dark Crystal exhibit.
Call them and ask. Or see if they have a website.
Hello! Puppets are allowed. We have many people who enjoy bringing their puppets into the museum with them.
Yes, it is.
Yes you can. Also, if you can get a behind the scenes tour (takes an hour or so) as well it is really fun and totally worth it.
Hi Ruth. I personally don't have any experience with this, however the Center For Puppetry Arts is very near the GA Tech campus so it shouldn't be very hard to find. Also, depending on when her internship is, the serorities and fraternities in the area rent out rooms when over extended breaks. That could be a cheap and safe option as well.
What day? They have a schedule on their website
This is the perfect place! The museum is amazing (don't forget the Jim Henson collection), and the little one in my family loves the create-a-puppet workshop. It's awesome for adults too!
Hello! We have a create a puppet workshop that opens after each show for about an hour. Your tickets also get you into World of Puppetry museum, as well as our special exhibit. These exhibits are open before and after each show, so you can go in at any time as long as you have your tickets.
It varies, but the standard museum ticket is $12.50 and $4.00 more for a guided tour, which is worth it.
