What's the average visit time to get through the museum without rushing? 2-3 Hours? More?

We did ours in right about 2 hours w out the show and went to the gift shop 2x the dark crystal exhibit is amazing !! Plan on 2 hours I can't imgian it taking longer we could have easily done it at 1 hour 30 min.

I appreciate both your answers! Very helpful. I have a 14 year old and an 8 yrs old- and were all huge Jim Henson nuts!... the reason I asked, is that were trying to fit in the ga aquarium in the same day and trying gauge the time slots. Much appreciated!

We did it in about 2 but didn't have much time for the gift shop or anything besides the exhibits. I'd say 3 especially if you want to read each exhibit. I am not sure if young children would have that patience though, the few that were there just kind of ran through :)

So if you're a plaque reader, 3 hours maximum (if you aren't doing shows, etc.). If you just are seeing the displays with minimal reading, maybe like an hour. Also depends on your interest in the world stuff and if you have kids obviously.
