No boardwalk, no hotels on beaches. Presque Isle is a State Park where you can enjoy forests, beaches, paved walks, roadways and a lighthouse. Entry to the park is free. There is a Diner restaurant at the entrance named Sara's and a campground. Then there is an Amusement Park before the entranced named Waldemere Park, plus the Tom Ridge Educational Environmental center and overlook tower. Motels are nearby and hotels are on the opposite side of the bay overlooking Presque Isle Peninsula.
There isn't hotels on the peninsula. There are hotels on the lake that's opposite of the peninsula on the bayfront and lots of restaurants. There are only concession stands at the beaches you swim at. No shops. There's a restaurant also right before you enter the peninsula. Hope this helps atleast a little bit!
