Bring Gatoraide with Electrolites!! You can end up every sick/death from water toxicity (drinking too much water)
Also be sure to photograph the trail map at the beginning, it'll help you on the longer hikes. There are several trails that go off different directions from the main trails.
Trails everywhere, but be aware that Red Rock Conservation Area closes well before sunset. However, there are many trails outside of the Area that would do. I will make a point of finding these trails and post my findings.

Perfect place for that... It wont be hard to find a place to watch the sunset. It'll be hard to decide where to go there are so many amazing views... Calico basin is one mile b4 the entrance to the park... ITS FREE TO PARK AND PLAY AT CALICO BASIN. Only a fee to go in the park, there are a lot of free things to do around the park. Also, you can hike in for free if you are up to it. Bring water.... It's a desert out here
