802 362 1655 is there number there not open till memorial day weekend.
Bias view- I grew up at Emerald Lake. The lake is as clean as you will find. No motorized boats are allowed. Great fishing for perch, smallmouth bass and Northern Pike. While swimming you can let your feet hang down to 6'-7' and there is a temperature barrier. The water almost instantly is 10°-15° cooler. The campground has 105 campsites on Dorset Mountain, 69 of which are for tents or campers. The rest are lean-tos. Spring drinking water right off the mountain. Unfortunately, the state has drastically cut staffing. No lifeguards, limited cleaning staff. After June most off the blackflies are gone. The mosquitoes come out in the evening. There are some deerflies during the day. In the 70's-90's the campground was usually filled to capacity from the end of June through Labor Day
