Right next to a highway! SO LOUD. Who wants to go camping with the constant sound of cars driving by your campsite?? Also our campsite looked like it was right next to the lake on the park map, but is actually next to a 100ft cliff that falls down into the lake.. so that's fun with our kids running around. Just arrived, so disappointed. Why would they build a campground here.

We just went for the day and it was great. The lake and beach area was beautiful! We did a small hike along the water which reminded us of Endor!

Went in August 2021. Loved the campsites and campground, everything is beautiful. The lake is really nice for swimming. It’s nice that most of the sites aren’t a far walk from the bathrooms! Planning to camp there again in July 2022!

Beautiful lake with great hiking trails. Very clean facilities and friendly staff compliment a gorgeous mountain side campground. Sandy Beach with a playground too. Spacious sites allow for many tents and not feeling crowded even when at full capacity.

Not really they are gravel mixed with dirt and roots. I recommend a lean too site if you want a nice flat sleeping surface.
