We are closed on Sundays because 1) we go to church, 2) we need at least one day off, 3) we are not located in a neighborhood setting with plenty of foot traffic on a Sunday with people passing by on their way to and from church, and 4) if we were open on Sundays, we would then likely close on Mondays like many other (but not all) bakeries, but our town is adjacent to an industrial/business park to the east and surrounded by office buildings to the north and west of our location to whom we sell many products on Mondays.
Many business close on Sunday because it's a low sales day. Also it gives all employees a day with their family.
I don't know. Assume they are religious, as I know they are family owned.
