About 345AM I checked into the ER , and let me tell you I have never been checked in and treated by a staff as nice and professional as this place. Thank you to the front desk lady, very caring as well as the nurse that checked me in. 10/10

My husband is in ICU and I appreciate the great service he has been receiving. Friendly staff and very informative. They answered all all questions and concerns. We can't complain about the food because he is being feed what is needed. If possible to give them higher ratings I would.

6 hours at the ER still in the waiting room and we still have no idea when we will be seen. And my family member was brought in by ambulance. Absolutely worst experience in an ER in my life. Try to avoid this torture at all costs if you have any emergency need. This is in a Friday at 6pm! The common theme among all of people waiting is that this place didn’t used to be so horrible, but now it is gone way down hill very fast. No caring, no updates, just sit and keep waiting. UPDATE 1: After spending a couple of days inside the hospital, I’ve come to learn that the cause of the dramatic downturn in the patient experience in this hospital is that Acension has now taken over. They have new policies and although the well intentioned staff is working as hard as they can, Ascension has caused this hospital to fail in so many ways on a regular basis. It’s really a shame. It used to be great. As you choose you hospital care going forward, keep in mind that it’s different people running this place now. Don’t think of it as the place it used to be, because it is most certainly NOT. You’ve been warned. UPDATE 2: At the end of all negative reviews Acension is quick to reply by giving a phone number asking for a call to discuss further. It’s been two weeks since we called and left a voicemail and they never called back. This was all for show. They know it’s a horrible situation and they clearly have demonstrated they don’t want to discuss it. But they want to create the impression that they care by inviting the call

If they have
I have had many surgeries there and have had ni issues there or in the st. Alexius facility. There drs. are the best.
Depending on the patient condition and diagnosis. Most allow children who are healthy ( not coughing/ sneezing/nose running) for short visits. Best to call the floor nurse before going to check rules for the patient. Patient care will always come first.
Do you have a physician? This would not covered as a hospital stay
I think 530am or 6am
This is actually the old Alexian Brothers Medical Center. St. Alexius is in Hoffman Estates.
ER entrance is a good spot; it's open 24/7
West tower
Hi Kelly! It's always a great option to reach out to Amita's Security team. They'll be able to assist you with questions about their lost and found department. I hope this helps. 🙂😎
