The dogs would love that. The shelter has a nice group of volunteers, maybe you could consider to become one. I've been walking dogs there and it is a nice way to exercise while giving the dogs some needed time outside. And you get to know nice people!
Yes you can and if interested on possibly adopting them you will be able to spend time one on one in a small room.
