I know of animal abuse to a young pit bull in maryville tn . on sentell circle . next to my papaws. The guy kicks and punches his dog for digging in yard. He kept a boxer and hound in a small pen outside without food and water for days no play no interaction no shelter and then all of a sudden they died and now they have a pit and poodle and several feral kittens. We tried to help catch kittens for the tnr. But to feral to touch. And we have called them in several times for the other dogs before they died and had no help saving them. We tried to throw food to them as we could but they where to wild to get close to without getting bitten or anything if we got close to the pen. Like i said they never had alot of human contact . But i say they dont need animals at all.
Reports of abuse or neglect can be called in to our animal control officers. They would respond and assess the situation. If further action is deemed necessary they would contact the Blount County SPCA for assistance.
Cases of abuse would be directed to the Blount County SPCA. Kelly or Gino could investigate. They would then envolve Animal Control.
Yes it can be. Usually they are reported to the police department and the animal control officers investigate. I'm sure that would skip that step.
Yes.
They have animal control officers so i would assume so. They are active in court appearances in animal cruelty cases.
