Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed for the island rental. If you are simply parking your car to float the river, then yes you can bring your dog while you load and unload your boats so long as it's on a leash.

How far from Maryville to John's River Island? Are there hotels in Maryville?

No hotels around it but some in town. It is on the outer part of Maryville. In the wildwoods area.
