Dogs.... lots of dogs.
The views are scenic but the amount of foot traffic through the trails will prevent you from seeing much other than birds.
White-tail deer, racoons, squirrels are common during the daylight hours. On the weekends when the park is crowded, deer are the most often animal seen-they are used to people at the park. Occasionally, you'll catch a glimpse of an oppossum or fox and a bear has been sighted at Rock House in the last few weeks. There are naturalist programs at the park where you can view owls and hawks and snakes. You can find the programs here: https://www.thehockinghills.org/Monthlyprograms.htm
