Is it still necessary to print out the end of day reports and have the pharmacist sign them? These reports are readily retrievable, and the pharmacist on duty already signs the signature log.

No, it's not a requirement just having the forms readily available should be sufficient.

291.34(e)(2)(F) States that the logbook the pharmacist signs is in lieu of the daily printouts. So as mentioned before, as long as they are readily retrievable, you should not be printing them and signing the log, just one or the other.
