A JOKE. Don't expect to get your license within a year. These people demand the absolutely most rigorous list of ridiculous documentation for your license. A complete and utter nightmare to deal with and a despicable list of requirements.

I’ve been waiting months for my license to get verified, I’ve paid money for the license, the back ground check, and the drug test, and I know for a fact my background is clear so there should be no hold up. I lost the opportunity at a good job because they don’t know how to do their job. They’re all lazy & good luck getting them to answer a phone call.

Tech registrations are good for 2 years.
How can I find out if I have obtained enough CE hours this year- including the Opioid and Law CE's. I have lost track of what I have done so far within the last 2 years.

So long as you can validate your credentials you should be able to obtain a registration license

You'll need to be registered to work as a technician in TX. Go to the TSBP website and follow the directions to become registered.

Shontee, there could be several reasons for the delay. I'd suggest calling the Board and inquiring. Be sure to have your receipt handy, for reference.

A trainee is allowed to perform the same duties as a registered technician. The trainee registration is only good for two years and is non-renewable. The state boards website has all of the information.
