You're better off going online https://m.extraspace.com/storage/south-carolina/mt-pleasant/ and getting a quote. They tend to have discounted prices online, that you can't get in the store. However, when I originally went in to rent a unit, they told me about the online pricing, and I hopped on my phone, while I was there, and reserved a rental unit for cheaper. Yes, prices CAN go up! However, I always received a postcard-sized notice in the mail AND an email, 1 month in advance of increased rates. Just keep an eye out for mail from them. Regarding the previous person's mention of "extras", just be sure to ask what additional costs there might be, that y'all haven't already discussed! Also, BE SURE TO FULLY READ ANY/EVERY CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN! This is across the board; any contract, for any situation! If there are additional costs that the sales person HASN'T already verbalized, it WILL BE in the contract! If not, you'd have grounds for a lawsuit ;) Good luck
