Someone that goes there told me that even if you are on pain meds, you have to go one month without them when you transfer to Woodlawn? I am in a lot of pain and don't know if I could do that.

I have not heard that and had no problems when I started

When I was seen, I was informed that they do not prescribe narcotic meds on the first visit. They will require any previous records and their own tests. Urine drug tests are given on the first visit. Your name will be checked against the pharmacy opioid registry. They have a psychologist that you will meet with that is very nice. As far as I know, these measures are in place at all of these clinics. After the first visit, it will typically be 2-4 weeks before the second appointment to get all of this squared away.

I had no problems transferring there, didn't have to go without meds at all.
