True there is a road the goes from the Orson Smith trailhead to the ghost falls trailhead but it has been closed this year since July 1st. Probably due to fire safety. Because the road is closed it is now a long walk or short/medium bike ride to reach the trailhead. An alternative route would be to park near the Rush trail at the top of suncrest and then it's a shorter walk down the dirt road to reach the ghost falls trailhead.
You can drive up the service road and it will take you to the top of ghost falls. But it is about 5 miles of dirt road. It's better to park at the temple and bike up.
You can't drive to the trailhead, you'd have to park at the small lot near the temple.
