Cafe Rio has jumped the shark, especially the Draper location drive thru. Order a salad and see how little meat they give you. It’s almost like the meat is garnish or something and they fill up the tin with cheap lettuce to save money. This review is after a dozen times feeling cheated and thinking I should write one.

My order was missing several items (salad toppings that I paid extra for). Included toppings were very light and salad dressing was half full. Much more concerning: the place is filthy. Good on the floor, trash everywhere. The entire pick up area (shelves and ground) was covered with trash, old food, and a supply box recently delivered. The counter had trash on it also, and many of the tables. Cafe Rio is great and I go there often. Will never be back to the Draper location. This place was unsanitary and I threw my food away

By far the worst experience we have had at any Cafe Rio. We ordered the food through the app and scheduled to pick it up 45 minutes later. After picking it up, the food was awful! They must have made it when we ordered and it sat for a while on the shelf. The quesadillas were extremely soggy and all the cheese was not melted. We also ordered a enchilada style chicken burrito. It only had cheese on it and was soggy as well. There was sweet pork all over in it with the chicken. The sauce was not what we ordered. The food was disgusting!!!

UPDATE: I’m changing my review from 4 stars to 3. I’ve been a few times since visiting and there’s been sometime wrong with each order. On one order I asked for a side of sour cream (which is extra) but when I got home I found the side cup to be 2/3rds empty. Not a huge deal but annoying. On another visit I ordered nachos and when I got home found that the cheese wasn’t melted. I had to scoop off the cold toppings and put it in the oven. Then while I was eating I found a big chunk of hard tortilla dough. Pictures added. Cafe Rio is good! Their drive through quality is occasionally a little hit and miss. But I’ve never had any issue on dine in. My go to is their sweet pork burrito enchilada style with hot sauce. I always get it with a little sour cream or tomatillo sauce on the side. If you’re getting a drink with the meal you need to get their mint lemonade—it’s delicious.

The employees wear masks, I go through the drive thru so not sure about anything inside, but they don't wrap the utensils which I don't like
