Water Moon offered an adequate experience for me. The service was good and the staff was friendly, but the quality of my meal tasted "ordinary". I ordered their Orange Chicken lunch and it seemed mildly bland. Just nothing that would stand out from the texture of the food. I compare it to Panda Express's chicken. Good/decent but not spectacular...which is what I'm looking for from a restaurant charging more than Panda Express. Perhaps it was the specific food. Overall, Water Moon was a fine experience but not to special!!!

Water moon has some of the tastiest sushi and teriyaki chicken! We’d get seated quickly and never spent a long time waiting for a server. It is a bit pricey for what you get but the food is good.

Over priced… confusing pricing online. Don’t refer to the pricing from Google. We got general tso and Mongolian beef dinners and a large hot and sour soup. The total came out to $46 plus tip. The portions were small like a lunch portion maybe smaller. The beef dish had thinly sliced beef maybe only 10 pieces ( not even 4 oz) lots of onions . My general tso was kinda bland - better off going to Panda Express to save some money. I’ve eaten a lot of Asian food from Washington DC and Hong Kong. This was just bleh and Draper pricing. I won’t be going back, sorry as others have mentioned it’s just way over priced.

Our monthly girls lunch brought us to Water Moon. It is tucked away in an unassuming little spot next to the Draper Harmons. We opted for a booth (love this) for a little more privacy since out lunches last for several hours. We chose Water Moon because the menu offers a variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes. The service was incredible! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and everything else we threw at her. Best of all our glasses were always full and she let us stay as long as we needed explaining that she hadn't seen her friends and family in two years because of Covid and understood. We ordered a bento box, and three sushi rolls. The food was beautifully prepared with care and fresh ingredients. Bento Box Review The hot and sour soup was similar to what you will find at most places, but this one was a bit more peppery, which I enjoyed. Although it didn't beat my favorite place, it became my second favorite. I chose the Asian salad dressing thinking it would be the classic rice vinegar and sugar but this was so much more. It was thicker, a little spicy (think horseradish not hot peppers), and gingery. I loved the dressing! I could have just order salad with this dressing and been happy. The Gyoza, General Tso's chicken, and fried rice were typical of what you would find elsewhere which is nice for people who have a hard time trying new foods or kids looking for something familiar. Sushi Roll Review The sushi here was one of the best places I've been to where sushi is not the main item offered. It is fresh, beautiful, and very tasty. If your friends are used to grocery store sushi, they will be blown away with how good sushi really is without being intimidated by trying new kinds. Cleanliness This is possibly one of the cleanest restaurants I've been to lately. In our 4+ hour luncheon I saw them cleaning menus, floors, and chairs (including the legs) in between rushes of customers. I deeply value that in a restaurant. The only suggestion I would like to offer is an all you can eat sushi option.

They've been amazing with working with my Celiac's. I'm not sure what all is different, but you can always ask. They're incredibly friendly.
You can order takeout from full menu
