Addison, yes and yes. I have 4 kids--we go there all the time to volunteer. They allow 12 yo to be there without adults, and definitely sign up for their volunteer program--no obligations! :)

They always allow visits. Me and my son go all the time trying to find a kitty to adopt but sadly havnt found one yet. Idk about the volunteering tho.
