Yes but they're not free.children are like $ 7.50 to. $ 15.00. Adults are like $ 32.00 . My wife and I found it to be worth every penny. If you do the Tour by yourself you got to get out of your car and read every sign. And then you have to drive around and find a parking spot and believe me there's a lot of traffic.. not to mention all the reading you have to do. If you go by the guy that tour they explain everything to you they do the stops and then they they take you up on the spot and they show you what's going on and explain everything to you how it happened it's really neat and it's definitely worth every penny and I'll guarantee you will enjoy yourself. Make sure you take a drink and a snack with you. And oh by the way they to make a bathroom stop for you. It's worth it
Yes. And you have the option of having an actual human guide or they have these really cool audio driving tours where the tracks numerically correspond with different locations you drive to (like if im at station 15, play track 15) and it also talks about the locations in between- as you drive so when you get there you can listen more or hop out and see what the guide was talking about. Also with the app, for the CD, you don't miss anything like you might if you had a human.
Yes. Took the bus tour today. Very rainy day and the bus was leaking like crazy inside. The driver had paper towels on the seats and passed out towels to passengers to catch drips falling from ceiling. Even though the guide was good the condition of the bus was dispicable and ruined the trip.
Yes but they are expensive take your own car that way you can see what you want and how long you want no rushing from place to place
Yes, you can tour the battlefield on a bus or in your own vehicle with a licensed battlefield guide (who will provide a personalized, private tour) for a fee. Also, from the spring through the fall, the park rangers offer a variety of free tours and programs throughout the park.
Yes there are guided tours. Book a licensed battlefield guide to go in your car or van. Cheaper than the bus & more personal. You pay one price for a car where you pay per person on the bus.
We have hired a tour guide who drove our car around and told us how and where the battle unfolded. Then we went back and spent time to explore on our own.
Yes there are. But you would definitely get more from a self-guided tour and take all the time that you want
We had a guided tour, but I was on a field trip with a bunch of 8th graders.
Yes, there are bus tours and other guided tours. Someone there also does a tour on horses.
Are pets allowed?
Yes.
Yes they leave from the visitor center
Yes I believe the National Park Service gives a tour on chartered busses leaving from the visitor's center. I found it rather educational.
Yes, but there are season changes. When we were there they offered tours based on the cyclorama as an example!
