If I remember correctly, it was free to get in. If it did cost anything, it wasn't enough to make me remember it. I think there were meters on the street for parking. It's not very big. It's the first floor of a reaidence. Just a few rooms. It was very interesting and worth the 2+ hour drive. There are some inexpensive items to purchase to remember the trip. We bought aome Civil War Memorabilia.
