We were told that our apartment is not properly insulated and nothing could really be done because it's an older building. We cover the ac units with blankets and run electric heaters. It's worse since we moved to an 8th floor unit. We are moving out of state in the spring, but regardless I don't think we would've renewed.
From my research, that is grounds to terminate the lease at will. I am currently building my case against Bridgeyard before I drop the bomb on them for the same issue. But also, I'm not lawyer so i want to make sure what I am saying is correct.
