There is a delivery driver that works here who NEVER delivers my packages even though she arrives in my neighborhood with the physical packages in tow. I am in an apartment complex on the third floor. On one occasion, she marked the package as "insufficient address, return to sender" which caused confusion and a big waste of my time and my shipper's time. The shipper provided me photo proof that they put the correct address on the label. After wasting my time going to the post office, the manager found out that the delivery driver still had my package in her truck and I had to drive over to where the driver was to get my package. During that incident, the driver told me to my face that she "doesn't do stairs". This most recent time, the delivery driver, again, arrived in my neighborhood with the package in her truck, did not even get out of the truck and simply marked the package as "unsuccessful delivery attempt" even though I was home and watching the mail delivery truck enter my neighborhood. Luckily I was home today and caught that so I had to run outside and ask for my package. Upset by the situation, I stopped by the post office to speak to the supervisor who just kept telling me that the delivery driver has a medical condition preventing her from going up the stairs. I just don't understand why a delivery driver who is incapable of going up the stairs would be assigned a route that includes addresses that have stairs. It just does not make sense because by doing this, they are basically saying that we just have to accept that we will NEVER have any packages be delivered successfully. Why not just assign this delivery driver to a route that she is physically capable of doing instead of inconveniencing other people through no fault of their own??

I find this post office to be convenient and have very friendly staff. Not sure why they are getting bad reviews. Have never had a bad experience here nor at the post office on Franconia. All the staff have been super friendly and very patient.

The USPS employees who are based out of this office and actually deliver the mail in our nearby neighborhood are AWESOME. I cannot say enough great things about our hard working delivery persons! The USPS employees typically staffing the counters INSIDE the Kingstowne office? Some of the rudest, unfriendliest, and most unhelpful I've come across in any organization. I've never gone to the counter here and been greeted properly, smiled at nor welcomed in any way, in the almost two decades this office has been around...despite my repeated attempts to approach THEM that way. In fairness, I've seen and heard MANY local patrons treat and talk to these in-office USPS staffers like they were dog droppings to be scraped off their shoes. I imagine these employees eventually just start giving what they get, day in and day out...

Great customer service and welcoming employees, and I skip closer post offices because of how they operate.
