Queen Mine Tour - All questions

Well it depends how dependant the person is on the walker.

Marcia Rieke | Jul 2, 2019

You could not take the walker into the mine, and you have to contend with getting on and off the train where you sit straddling the bench seat.. If you can make do with a cane, you could do this.

This is a good question for the folks at the mine. Call them directly.

It depends. Yes, some of the tour would be too difficult. It is difficult for some people who have no need of a walker. But the ride on the mining train into the heart of the mountain is the biggest thing. Also, some areas are flat. It is a unique opportunity and not that costly. Go for it!

Not really.

John Evers | Jul 2, 2019

I would not suggest it. There is a train ride in, but the walking part is very rocky with changing elevations.

Tina M | Jul 2, 2019

Yes, definitely . I can't walk much myseld, but you actually get a train ride also . It's very informative and educational.

Edward Blakesmith | Jul 2, 2019

I don't think it would be wise... Short walks and climbing stairs on the tour..
