Am I allowed to just go in there to look and play with the dogs and come back at a later time??

Hey there, Michelle! Excellent answer, Morgan. Correct, we are operating by appointments only currently to limit the amount of people in the building at a time. You can schedule a dog appointment for you and up to one other person at: https://signup.com/go/OfcSdmR. If you'd like to come back, you would just need to make another appointment. You can submit an application for an animal on our website (we'll keep it on file for up to 3 months, rhspca.org/apply) to start the approval process for when you do see an animal you'd like to adopt. But we can not hold an animal. The first individual with an approved application, would be able to adopt the pet.

You have to make an appointment to go in and see any of the animals. If you want to decide which you want and then go back, you can, but they don't hold animals for people.
