Tennis court and a jungle gym with a lake tying it all. Long walks in the fall with the colours changing every day, this park is a treat!

There has been weddings held near the pond. We walk through the park daily and a couple months ago, we noticed chairs set up and an arch for a wedding. Only issue would be parking, guests would have a bit of a walk to the venue.

If no one is on the field it gets locked. I'm not sure if you can just in season in between league play or not, but most weekend in season ( March to June) the fields are in use every week night and sat/ Sunday mornings until late afternoon.... I would call Harrisonburg parks and rec to get an answer.

Is there a lot of wheelchair accessible walking trails here?

Teri Owens | Oct 21, 2018
Niklas Mikelson | Oct 21, 2018

You just need to be careful after a rain storm, as the gravel washes away and they have to constantly replace it. There is a small paved portion that runs about half a mile that should always be accessible though.
