Super surprised how few people were here, wayyyy cooler than many of the other children's museums we have been to. Only complaint is that the first floor needs more lighting, too sleepy. (But I guess that's the idea in a 5 and under wonderland, right?) The second floor was absolutely so much fun, even for mom and dad.

We took 3 young boys ages 4 -6.. They enjoyed going to the many exhibits. Most things kept their attention . The only reason I would not give 5 stars is... Some of the things did not work and some is showing ware.. I guess this is what happens when something gets a lot of playing with...

Best children's museum we have been to hands down!

Yes there is a cost. $6.50 per person and kids under 1 are free.
While it seems unfair to pay $6.50 to watch the children play, that admission fee helps to cover the cost of the maintenance of the activities, the displays both interactive and static, the utilities, building interior and exterior upkeep, insurance, and a laundry list of other overall expenses. Depending on the age of the child, you're interacting not just watching I would think as well too? It's a very good interactive children's museum with great learning tools! They do a lot of activities for the children over and above regular operating hours. As a parent and grandparent I feel the $6.50 is well spent even if it's just watching my child or grandchild interact with the activities, displays, and other children. We are lucky to have such a great resource in our area.
The most convenient would be to use the public parking decks, they are free and it's a short distance to the museum, this will allow you to enjoy window browsing downtown as well.
The museum does not have a cafe, but there are many restaurants nearby.
There are some parallel spots around the corner with 2 hour availability. There is also a 4 hour parking lot just a bit further. Not at the building itself but very manageable!
Annual pass prices now range from $90-150. The choices are varied and flexible for many different family structures.
