if a carrier cannot deliver a package due to "no access," where does it go? Will carrier attempt delivery again?

I never ever had a packaged redelivered to me . If I don’t get the package on the delivery date then I automatically know I have to pick it up , and then it takes like half an hour to get your package once you get there

Go pick it up. In my experience USPS hires lazy people, so even if you schedule a redelivery they might not show up.

It goes back to the post office, you can either reschedule redelivery for the next day, they will attempt to deliver it again depending on how many times they tried already or you can take the notice they left and pick up your package at the designated post office.
