You should talk to them about that. But if one will leave the other party will loose the voucher and then you sign into a contract and the party who stays in the housing is going to be responsible for the payment of the full rent and utilities if you have that to pay that by chance. If you both have a voucher it may be better to have your own apartment and just live in the same complex. But as I said before, if you 2 can find an apartment together, get that approved with them 1st. It is so much easier to find a 2 bedroom than a 1 bedroom. It took me about 4 months to find a 1 bedroom, but there were many 2 bedrooms! Good Luck and enjoy your new home and congrats on getting your voucher!! 😊
