We didn't but we got there by 9:30 am when we left long line.

If your going to the Geo deck then you do not need a reservation. They're last elevator ride up daily is at 930 pm. There is a fine dining asain restaurant above that and for that you do need to make a reservation just call the help desk.
There was no need, we just got there and purchased the tickets, there was around 30 people once we got to the top
