I paid this company or the collection agency that windstream has and it is still showing up as not paid, what’s up with that?

once the account is paid it can take the credit bureaus 30-90 days to update your credit report

Depending on how long ago you paid it may take time, try calling Windstream direct and give a confirmation number of the payment
